Everything a parent asks before paying
Including the two nobody in this category answers straight: when the card actually arrives, and what happens to the photo.
A rookie card with your child on the front and their details on the back: name, number, team, position, height, weight, birthday and season. For $39 we print it on real trading-card stock, 2.5 by 3.5 inches, and mail it to you, and we email you the digital file the same evening. For $29 you get the file on its own.
About three minutes. You pick the sport, type their details, upload one photo, and the card draws itself as you go. What you see on the preview screen is exactly what prints, so that is the moment to check the spelling.
The same evening you order. It comes as two images, the front and the back, plus a print-ready file if you want to print it yourself.
We do not promise a date, because the mail is not ours to promise. The card is made to order and mailed, and the day it lands is down to the printer and the carrier. The digital file is the part we control, and it is with you the same evening either way.
One clear photo where you can see their face, taken in decent light. A game-day photo is lovely and a photo in the backyard works just as well. You can crop it on the preview screen, and if you want, drop the background behind them for a stadium, a rink or a court.
The digital file is easy: email us a better one and we make the card again and send it, free. The printed card depends on how far along it is. Tell us as soon as you can and we will swap the photo before it goes to print if we still can, and either way we will tell you which it was.
No. Nothing we do repaints a face, changes a body or invents a child. The photo is placed, scaled and cropped, and if you choose a background we cut them out of theirs and put them on the one you picked. That is the whole of it.
No. The card carries your kid's name, number, team name and photo, and none of a league's or a pro team's marks. That is what keeps it yours to print.
Extra copies of the same card are cheaper: the second is $29 and every one after that is $19. You are offered them right after you pay, when the card already exists, so you are not guessing at a quantity before you have seen it.
Yes, and nobody has to collect money. You get a link, every family orders their own child's card from it, and each card ships to whoever ordered it. There is no minimum and nothing to organize beyond sending the link.
A free page at officialrookie.com with their card on it, so a grandparent can see it without you emailing a file. It is off unless you switch it on, it is not listed or searchable, and you can take it down whenever you like. It stays free for life.
30-day money back on the digital card. Free reprint if your printed card arrives damaged or with a mistake that was ours: send us a photo and we print it again and mail it at no charge. The printed card is made to order with your child's face on it, so a reprint is the remedy rather than a return.
It is stored privately and used to make their card. It never goes in a gallery, an ad or anywhere public unless you check a box asking us to, and we delete it 90 days after your order unless you have a live player page that needs it. Every photograph on this site is a generated image of somebody who does not exist, so no real child is on any of our pages. Read the privacy policy for the whole of it.
No. One payment, no renewals, and nothing to cancel. The player page is free for life.
