Gifts from grandparents

Grandparents can give a grandson or granddaughter their own rookie card.

Their photo, name, number and team on the front, their season on the back, and a line from you of up to 60 characters. All it takes is one photo and about three minutes.

How grandparents make one

  1. 1

    Ask for one photo

Any clear photo where you can see their face works. Ask their mom or dad to text you one from this season.

  2. 2

    Make the card

Pick their sport, type their name, number and team, and write your line for the back. You see the finished card before you pay.

  3. 3

    Send it to them

The printed card is mailed to the address you give at checkout, so it can go straight to their home. The digital file is emailed to you the same evening.

One for them, one for you. Extra printed copies of the same card are offered after you order: the second is $19, then $15 each.

Their card goes everywhere a grandparent does, in a wallet, on the fridge or on its own page.

The printed card is 2.5 by 3.5 inches, small enough for a wallet. Whoever orders can also switch on a free player page at officialrookie.com with the card on it, so the whole family can see it without anyone emailing a file. It is never listed or searchable, and it can be taken down whenever you like.

The line on the back

The line on the back of the card can be from you.

Up to 60 characters, printed on the back of the card in your words.
